Day 1- Sydney Arrival
Welcome to Sydney! The capital of New South Wales is Australia’s biggest and most well-known city. Built around a spectacular natural harbour, Sydney has a vibrant atmosphere with great restaurants, shops, nightlife, and a bustling waterfront. The down-to-earth friendliness of four million ‘Ozzies’ helps you feel right at home. Whether you arrive from an international or domestic flight, your package includes a private transfer to the Observatory Hotel.

Day 2 - Cruise Sydney’s Harbour
Get your bearings in Sydney with your choice of a morning or afternoon sightseeing cruise on the famous harbour (time must be selected at booking). From the water you’ll see Darling Harbour, the Opera House, and exclusive residential areas. You step off the boat with an overall sense of the city’s magnificence. The remainder of the day is yours to explore this vibrant city! Overnight in Sydney.

Day 3 – Tour Sydney and the Northern Beaches
With so much to see in Sydney, a full day tour is the best way to make sure you see as much as you can! Begin with a trip to the historic Rocks area where photos of the convict built villages are a must. Continue to the Circular Quay for wonderful views of the Opera House, and then go for a stroll in the Botanical Gardens. Travel in the comfort of a luxury motorcoach as you tour the scenic areas around Sydney before experiencing the unique flora and history of Ku-Ring-Gai National Park. Return to Sydney this evening – be sure to sample some of the city’s mouthwatering cuisine. Overnight in Sydney.

Day 4 – Blue Mountains Safari
Enjoy a hands-on visit to a wildlife park where you see koalas, kangaroos, plus friendly dingoes – you can even pet the koalas! Your 4x4 tour vehicle travels deep into the Blue Mountains where you enjoy a snack in gorgeous natural surroundings. The 4x4 lets you go off the beaten path and see stunning cliffs, canyons and wilderness. Enjoy Australia’s great hospitality at a homestead lunch and take more photos of the scenery than you would have thought possible! Overnight at the award winning Lilianfels Blue Mountains.

Day 5 – Blue Mountains to Cairns and Port Douglas
Enjoy a full morning of leisure. Take your time exploring the town, galleries and cafes, or take a walk through the surrounding wilderness. Depart from Lilianfels Blue Mountains this afternoon and return to Sydney, passing the site of the 2000 Olympics. Meet with a private transfer to the airport and fly to Cairns tonight where you meet your transfer to Thala Beach Lodge. Overnight at Thala Beach Lodge.

Day 6 -7 – Discover Thala Beach Lodge
Wake up miles away from city life. The Lodge is a natural and secluded environment for relaxation and is a tranquil haven at the end of a hard day’s exploring. Stroll at sunrise on the private tropical beach or relax with cocktails while watching the sunset over the coastal ranges. The restaurant has stunning views overlooking the Coral Sea. Breakfast and dinner – prepared by a master chef - are included during your stay. Take advantage of culinary lessons with the chef and commit the tips to memory so you can relive this experience at home. Presentations from local specialists provide evening entertainment if you can drag yourself from the tranquil swimming pools. Day 8 – Thala Beach Lodge to Lizard Island
Transfer to the Cairns airport today and board a short flight to the exclusive Lizard Island Resort. You can feel yourself relax as soon as you arrive in this tropical oasis of sandy beaches and bright blue water – this deluxe resort is really the place to get away from it all in style. Overnight at Lizard Island.

Day 9 – 11– Enjoy Lizard Island
The stunning azure waters off the shores of Lizard Island’s 20 plus beaches are ideal for snorkeling, and the diving here is superb; nearby Cod Hole and Ribbon Reefs draw divers the world over. All meals are included during you stay and among the facilities is a gym and spa centre, in addition to tennis courts and a myriad of water sport activities to try. Of course, more often than not, you’ll be relaxing and soaking up the unmistakable tropical atmosphere of this secluded island in the sun.

Day 12 – Departure
Your Luxury Authentic Australia vacation comes to an end with a flight back to Cairns.
